So I've managed to finally get on top of pain management (mostly). The continuing battle now without any predictable end is working through the obstruction. It is frustrating because there is no specific prescription to heal it. Fortunately the chemo treatments are proceeding thus far. Completed another cycle last week and am looking forward to next week already. Need those meds. In the meantime hoping to keep my weight up (it has not been cooperating what with all the hospital says, the obstruction, the TPN nutrition, minimal ingested calories. Most people wouldn't know me to see me right now. So it is a primary goal during all of this to keep and even add weight. Taking recommendations for super high calorie foods, soft as possible, so whatever calories do manage to pass my system achieve maximum effect. Ice cream is a primary but this kind of chemo limits me from eating any for several days after infusions. Always something.
Anyhow - keep the good wishes and prayers coming. They help more than you know. Thanks as always. And we are keeping the faith here.
Cheers friends and hope this finds you all well.
Lots of good wishes to you, Mark.
