Reprieve

After careful consideration, we have decided to forgo the 12th treatment next week. Our medical team supports the decision, which will allow a 5 week recovery before surgery, rather than only 3. While I have been able to handle the treatments quite well to date, the past couple have been notably tougher - evidence that the cumulative effects of the Oxalipaltin are likely catching up with me. My rising pretreatment anxiety goes away now too. This is a welcome holiday gift to myself.
