A second HIPEC

A friend of ours, Carlyle, underwent her second HIPEC surgery yesterday (I'm scheduled for my second on 3/12) and we have been following her progress. Just like her first, this second go-round was many many hours (about twice as long as mine was) and we are anxiously watching for updates on her results and post-op condition. Please say a prayer for Carlyle and her family today. She has been a good friend and supporter of our situation, sharing her experiences and advice, and is a continuing contributor to WunderGlo efforts. She is an inspiration to me personally, and we are hopeful for her recovery. It is also a good reminder of what's coming up for us in the next few weeks.
